The KIWOPRINT D 159 AF is ideal for printing on absorbent or soft surfaces. Although its primary use is in the automotive and electronics industries due to its resistance to high temperatures (for printing touch screens, panels, and electrical appliances), it is also an excellent solution for printing on soft and expanded materials thanks to its high viscosity (e.g., felt, PE foam, etc.).

Printed sheets can be preserved for at least one year without any deterioration in peel strength, provided that suitable silicone paper is used and they are stored under proper and stable conditions.

KIWOPRINT D SERIES

Screen printing is one of the most common ways to convert a material into a sticker. Papers, plastics and aluminum can be made (locally or completely) self-adhesive using printable adhesive.

Dispersion adhesives are water-based adhesive systems that form bonds through the process of water evaporation during drying. The final result, i.e. the uniform sticky layer of the material, is achieved due to the evaporation of the liquid components and the conversion of the solid elements (polymers) into a sticky film.

Dispersion adhesives have the following advantages:

  • Easy application (by screen printing, by roller, by spray, by doctor blade…
  • Eco-friendly product due to its content and ability to dissolve in water
  • Easy storage
  • Quality and reliability due to long-term use of the materials
  • Low production costs
  • Easy cleaning
  • Does not create polluting residues during cleaning (no solvents, etc. are needed)
  • Can be processed at room temperatures

KIWO, with many years of experience in the manufacture of printable adhesives, provides a complete range of products for these applications.
